This Privacy Policy describes how ChartLens AI ("we," "us") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you use our website (chartlensai.fria.ai) and our iOS application (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:
- Account information — such as authentication identifiers if you create an account (for example, via a provider like Supabase or Sign in with Apple), and related profile data you choose to provide.
- Chart images and analysis inputs — photos or screenshots you submit for AI analysis, plus any related metadata needed to process your request.
- Analysis outputs — structured results generated for you, which may be stored to provide history features in the app.
- Device and technical data — such as app version, device type, and diagnostic logs, to maintain security and improve reliability.
- Purchase-related data— subscription status may be processed by Apple; we receive limited information needed to unlock Pro features according to Apple's rules.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service;
- Authenticate users and prevent abuse;
- Run AI analysis on chart images you submit;
- Store history and preferences you opt into;
- Respond to support requests (for example, via support@fria.ai)
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
AI processing
When you request analysis, chart images and related prompts may be sent to AI model providers and processed on their infrastructure in accordance with their documentation and our agreements. We instruct providers to use customer data only to provide the Service where contractually permitted. Do not submit highly sensitive personal data in chart images.
Storage and service providers
We use trusted third parties for hosting, authentication, database storage, and related infrastructure (for example, cloud and backend providers). These providers process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards appropriate to the nature of the Service.
Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may be able to delete your account and associated data from within the app where that feature is offered; deletion may take time to propagate across backups.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers as described above, if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.
Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
International transfers
We are based in the United States, and we primarily host and process information in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. or in other countries where our service providers operate, under safeguards appropriate to the processing.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, may provide additional rights; contact us with a verifiable request where applicable. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the age required by your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy with an updated "Last updated" date and, where required, provide additional notice.
